Pritzker Graduate Highlighted on National Public Radio

June 30, 2008 — Ari Bernstein, MD'05 is the co-editor of the recently published book Sustaining Life: How Human Health Depends on Biodiversity.
Dr. Bernstein was recently featured on National Public Radio's "Living on Earth" program. On the program, he and fellow editor Dr. Eric Chivian discussed the necessity of preserving various plant and wildlife species in order to ensure medical progress, research, and new materials.

Dr. Bernstein, a Research Associate at at the Center for Health and the Global Environment as well as a Clinical Fellow in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital - Boston (Harvard Medical School) and Boston University School of Medicine, spoke at Pritzker in May 2008 and discussed his new book.
