2017-2018 Secondary Questions

Our Secondary Application gives our Admissions Committee the opportunity to get to know you better and helps the Committee members evaluate your fit for the Pritzker School of Medicine. 

We will send a link to the Secondary Application to every applicant who designates the Pritzker School of Medicine to receive their application through AMCAS. We do not screen prior to sending our Secondary Application. If you do not receive our Secondary Invitation email within 48-72 hours, please contact us at pritzkeradmissions@bsd.uchicago.edu so that we can resend the invitation email.

For the 2018 cycle, we will begin sending out links to our electronic Secondary Application to AMCAS verified and unverified applicants on Wednesday, July 5. If you would like to begin thinking about your Pritzker Secondary responses before July 5, you can read our 2017-2018 Secondary essay questions below.

Our Secondary application fee is $85. If you have been approved for the AMCAS Fee Assistance Program, your secondary fee will be waived automatically.

In particular, it highlights the value we place on diversity since we regard the diversity of the entering class as essential for educational excellence. Please write an essay on how you would enhance diversity at Pritzker and advance the Pritzker mission.
