Summer Research Forum

All students funded through the Pritzker Summer Research Program are required to present their research at the Summer Research Forum. All students funded through this program are required to present their research at the Summer Research Forum, held the last two days of the eleven weeks. Each student will give a seven minute presentation, followed by a two minute question and answer session. Students are graded by judges from both the clinical and basic sciences.

Eight cash awards are given to the most outstanding presentations. These awards include:

  • The Dr. Joseph B. Kirsner Research Award for Best Overall Presentation
  • The Sigma Xi Award for Impact on Society
  • 3 Basic Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content, and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance of Research in Basic Science
  • 3 Clinical Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content, and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance
