Why wellness is important to me: Wellness is important to me because it impacts the many dimensions of my life. In order to thrive professionally and academically, I have found that I must also thrive spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Medical school is a constantly changing landscape, where we are expected to quickly adapt and grow. In this type of environment, it becomes even more important to find time to focus on your well-being.

Why I’m on the committee: I chose to become a committee member to better represent my classmates and their struggles. We all deserve the time and opportunity to take care of ourselves. I want to help create initiatives that bring well-being and self-care to the forefront of our minds as we continue to grow. Whether it’s through a class-wide campaign or an intimate discussion, I hope that I can contribute to my Pritzker Family so that we may all flourish, succeed, and be well.

Fun fact: I love making and sharing chai! It’s a great way for me to reconnect with my culture and also get to know different people!

Meet the rest of the Pritzker Wellness Committee!
