March 03, 2009 - The Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators, the Graduate Medical Education Executive Committee (GMEC) and the University of Chicago Medical Center recently announced the 2009 recipients of the University of Chicago Medical Education Research Grants.
Each year the Dean for Medical Education and the University of Chicago Medical Center make research funding available to support research in medical student education and resident/fellow education. These awards are part of an ongoing series of initiatives to foster research, innovation and scholarship in medical educatin and to promote and sustain a strong culture of teaching throughout Chicago BioMedicine.

CAPE (Curriculum for Advancing Palliative Care Education): A Longitudinal, Integrative Approach to Palliative Medicine Training for Medical Students
