All students receiving funding through the Pritzker Summer Research Program are required to present their research at the Summer Research Forum, which takes place during the final two days of the eleven-week program. Each student will deliver a seven-minute presentation, followed by a two-minute question and answer session. Presentations will be evaluated by judges from both clinical and basic sciences.

Monetary awards are presented to the most outstanding presentations. These awards include:

  • The Dr. Joseph B. Kirsner Research Award for Best Overall Presentation
  • 2 Basic Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content, and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance of Research in Basic Science
  • 2  Clinical Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content, and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance
  • 2 Applied Science Awards for Over Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content, and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance
  • Healthcare Delivery Science Award
  • The Sigma Xi Award for Impact on Society
  • The Brain Research Foundation Award for Neuroscience
  • 9 Honorable Mention for Excellence Awards
