Kristin I. McCann, PhD joined the University of Chicago’s Medical Scientist Training Program in 2018. She brings over a decade of experience in student affairs and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) partnerships, programs, and strategic communications. McCann also focuses on student and faculty engagement and career development among underrepresented and underserved populations. Prior to joining the MSTP, she served as a postdoctoral fellow with Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Her work has been published in high impact journals such as The Review of Higher Education and The Journal of College Student Development.
