Why wellness is important to me: Wellness is essential because it enables us to bring our best selves into every role we occupy—as students, future physicians, and community members. Prioritizing our own wellness not only strengthens us but also enhances our ability to genuinely care for and support others. TLDR: We are better humans when we take care of ourselves!

Why I'm on the committee: I joined the wellness committee to help build a warm, supportive environment where students feel empowered to prioritize their mental, emotional, and physical health. Life can get chaotic and challenging, but focusing on wellness is essential for our resilience and success—not only as students but also as future physicians and as people.

Fun Fact: I have an irrational fear of butterflies (blame that one spongebob episode).
