Financial Aid for Incoming Students

Choosing to go to medical school is a major investment in yourself and your future. The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine understands that this is an important investment and is dedicated to working with students as they pursue their goals in medicine. Students will find us to be a source of information, advice and reassurance in what we know can, at times, become a confusing and complicated process.

As a private university, our tuition rates are the same for in- and out-of-state students. With our generous financial aid model, we are able to provide assistance to approximately 80% of enrolled medical students each year, and the majority of students graduate with less than the national average in student debt.

We encourage you to follow the links below as well as to review our Satisfactory Academic Progress and Return of Title 4 Funds Policies. Additional questions will best be directed to (773) 702-1938 or by emailing the Office of Financial Aid.
